To support our network of service partners – the companies responsible for maintaining our customers’ batteries and EV chargers – we are introducing a new real-time diagnostics tool.
This partner tool adds to the suite of tests used for diagnostics, fleet management and to ensure security of delivery in the virtual power plant.
About the real-time diagnostics tool
The diagnostics view provides access to several data points that refresh every ten seconds. When troubleshooting a system, partners can view:
- The system’s IP address, MAC address, and serial number.
- Whether the internet connection is via 4G or a wired connection
- Battery temperature (if supported by the manufacturer)
- How closely the system follows setpoints – the specific target values (such as instructions to charge or discharge) that CheckWatt sends to the system.
